TEG’s corporate policy is to provide a healthy and safe working environment for our employees and also for our clients and subcontractors working alongside us. We are committed to encouraging a proactive attitude in all our employees towards recognizing and addressing safety concerns in the workplace before incidents can occur. We strive to foster a “team” approach on all projects that will make each person concerned for the welfare and safety of each team member.
“Safety first” is TEG’s corporate priority and zero workplace incidents is our goal.
TEG has in place both a written corporate Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP) and Health & Safety Plan that addresses the guidelines and procedures for maintaining a safe working environment. On-site in the field, tailgate safety meetings are held daily and JHA/JSA’s are reviewed to encourage and identify any potential hazards that may occur in any unique set of field conditions.
Each one of our employees shares an obligation to prevent accidents and perform their duties responsibly in a manner consistent with our corporate safety and environmental policies.
TEG works to maintain a strong, viable health and safety program and injury and illness prevention program. All personnel engaged in field operations are fully certified in accordance with 29CFR1910.120 Title 8 CCR 5192. All TEG personnel are at the minimum 40 hr. OSHA HazWoper trained, current 8 hr. certified and have annual medical surveillance. Each employee is an experienced seaman fully trained on the equipment they operate.
